Basket Case is a trick for the eye with strips that seam to weave in and out of each other. It is perfect for a beginner comfortable with piecing and pressing. Uses jelly roll pre-cut strips, or yardage.
If using a jelly roll for the throw size, most jelly rolls come with 40 strips, so I recommend buying an extra 1/4 yard or two of coordinating fabric or a coordinating solid, and cutting them into 3 strips 2 1/2". Then you'll have enough to make the Throw size quilt or swap out any strips you don't like or that blend in too much with the background fabric.
