This pattern is an excellent scrap quilt and stash buster. I would encourage buying a fat quarter bundle to get started, and then pulling in fabrics from your stash to maximize the variety of colors and prints. This is a great quilt to teach a class with, as you can talk about color and contrast. This quilt is quite addicting when you get sewing!
