I've been having fun lately creating versatile designs that can use 2 1/2" strips OR 10" squares. This month I put together Butterfly Garden featuring Crystal Manning's Garden Society prints. The pattern will give you directions & cutting for using either 2 1/2" strips or 10" squares. It also allows for some strip quilting if you are using the 2 1/2" strips. I’ve spent the last 25 years surrounded by fabric. While being meticulous about trying to save every tiny little scrap of fabric, I admit to getting lax. Not so much about being wasteful (still saving those scraps), but not worrying about cutting errors. Slip and it’s just a few paces over to the bolts or grab another charm pack.
